I am a Usui Reiki Master and Relaxation Massage Therapist with training from the UK, NZ and Australia. I have been in practise for 24 years. Since 2015 I have spent more time providing a mobile service in the community massaging people with complex medical conditions and offering much needed social engagement.
I have loved horses ever since I can remember and presently have 2 minis called Danny and Dolly and a beautiful Missouri Foxtrotter/Standard bred mare called Carolina. They make my heart sing and we regularly visit Elders to light up their lives. I have completed many hours of coaching with Ponies Naturally and have studied Natural Horsemanship, Freedom Based Training, Attuned Horsemanship and Working Equitation.
I was originally trained as a Drama teacher back in 1978 and I have been professionally laughing since 2007. Sometimes in public and at other times specialising in working with Elders with complex conditions like Alzheimers. I completed my teacher training with Dr Kataria, the founder of Laughter Yoga and was appointed as a Laughter Ambassador in 2018. Additionally, I have completed training as a Happiness Coach with Dr Robert Holden in 2011.
We have new JoyBalancers classes and courses.
Some will be held on the Kapiti Coast and others in Khandallah.
